Music

Grateful Nights Band (2-sets)

The Grateful Nights Band plays the music of the Grateful Dead in unique and creative ways, respecting the experimental and rootsy origins of the greatest American band, while still providing the freedom for each musician to bring their own personality. Each show features a unique setlist, reminiscent of classic Dead shows, but also continues the evolution of the music that even Jerry Garcia himself said no longer belongs to the Dead after it has been played.

The Grateful Nights Band is a musical collective based in Barcelona, founded and led by Aaron Feder, a multi-instrumentalist and producer originally from Chicago, USA who has played with members of Phil and Friends, Peter Rowan (Old and in the Way) and Bob Bralove (The Grateful Dead, Stevie Wonder).

The band features an international conglomeration featuring Aaron Feder on vocals, pedal steel and guitar (Afro Dead, Alma Afrobeat Ensemble), with Donna Lee and John Married (from Blueroomess) on vocals and guitar, Barko Waltz on bass, JJ Oliva on keys (Afro Dead, Mami Wata), and renowned Barcelona session drummer Bryan Curtis.

Barko Waltz

Barko Waltz is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter born in Argentina, raised in Detroit, and living in Barcelona since 2015.

If you’re into Beck, the Kinks, and Captain Beefheart, this one’s for you!

With his unique style that includes a timeless variety of classy and classic rock & roll with a rootsy yet still strangely modern vibe. His deep love of folk, blues, and all things Americana is evident in all of his original compositions, mixed with cryptical, thoughtful lyrics that draw you in and keep you wondering.

Los Pissarros (2-sets)

Los Pissarros is an international music project led by the Portuguese singer and songwriter Cecília Pissarro, bringing together musicians from different backgrounds and artistic languages. United by a shared passion for authentic music creations and performances, the group explores styles such as soul, latin rhythms, R&B, jazz, funk and rock, delivering a bold and dynamic sound.

The band features the Italian guitarist William Mastroni, whose classical training and experience in jazz, blues, and musical theatre contribute to a rich and versatile approach; Irish percussionist Jonathan Gornall, with a rhythmic sensitivity shaped by traditional music; and Mozambican bassist Suleimane Ibraimo, who brings his groove all the way from Maputo, with influences ranging from jazz and bossa nova to rock and blues.

An electrifying live experience where cultures merge and authenticity comes alive on stage.
